There are several tips that could be followed, when tackling entrance exams.

Plan ahead : The only one who knows your better is yourself. So introspect your strength and weakness and the time available. Plan your study accordingly. Plan your milestones in accordance with the available time.

Self determination: Never procrastinate the targets you have set, it could tamper your whole schedule. Remember the words of Charles Dickens, “Procrastination is the thief of time“. Execute everything steadfastly and thoroughly it helps a lot.

Preparation: Trying till the last minute increases your success rate.

Practice: Understanding the concept is the core in entrance exams. Practicing helps you understand the concepts easily and better.

Being calm:  Keep mental balance and to control the stress, this could help you focus on your work.

Confidence: The positive attitude and self confidence could give you motivation to add fuel to your mind and body.

Analyze the strategies: Evaluate the work you have done. And make changes if it’s not working out

Time management:  Try to do more workout questions with time limit; this will help you to speed up the process, as this is the critical factor in any exams. So, write tests with such a speed that you can complete the tests within stipulated time.

Revision: The more you could revise the more you will be able to recall. This will also give you grasp on the topic and it won’t fade away from your mind.

Never quit half the way: This type of attitude should be changed.  Never give up. If you find something difficult, try to get some help and move forward.

Don’t waste time: Stay away from the things which are time killers. During your study time keep away mobile phone and stay in your room away from T.V.

Find a reason: Find your reason to study for. This could increase your spirit to work hard. A healthy competition with friends is a good habit.

Short notes: The habit of making short notes will help you in the last minute revision.

Don’t take exams a reason to skip food; for a healthy mind, a healthy body is needed. Try to meditate 5-10 minutes or pray. This could cool soothen your mind. And always aim for nothing less than the best.
