Central Excise Chennai Recruitment 2016 – Tax Assistants, Havaldar

Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Office of the chief Commissioner of Central Excise a Service Tax, Chennai Zone, 26/1, M.G.Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai-34 invites applications from meritorious sports persons. The last date for submission of applications is 1st June 2016.
Name of the Post : Havaldar – Tax Assistants (TA)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 – 20200 (PB-3) + Grade Pay Rs.1800
Eligibility: Meritorious sports persons who have represented:
(a) The country in an International Competition.
(b) The State in a National Competition.
(c) The University in the inter-University tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board.
(d) The State school team in National Sports/ Games for School, conducted by the All India School Games Federation or who have been awarded National Awards in Physical efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
They should have represented any of the competition above in the event of i) Athletics(Track and Field) ii) Cricket (men only) Hi) Football (men only) iv) Hockey (men only) v) Kabaddi (men only) vi) Swimming vii) Basketball (men only) viii) Volleyball (men Only) ix) Table Tennis and x) Lawn Tennis (men Only) and xi) Shuttle Badminton and xii) Carrom (men only) in the recent past.
