We all know that in order to improve ourselves, we must keep getting out of our comfort zones, and strive to continue achieving our goals. However, in order to be able to do that, we must be able to expand our horizons, and improve ourselves. The most fundamental aspect of improve one’s own self, is to improve their ‘learning curve’. The learning curve of a person is basically the time and effort they put into achieving a task. Thus, the more a person attempts to do a task, the lesser time he/she takes to do it. For example, a person learning to cook might take a considerable amount of time in chopping the vegetables. However, after a few attempts, they begin to get the hang of it, and take lesser time to slice the vegetables.

Now, in order to reduce the duration of time taken to achieve a task, to a considerable extent, time management plays a vital role of course! However, there are definitely a few more tips and tricks, which can help you, reduce the time taken, and drastically improve your efficiency. That is exactly what we are trying to teach you, so keep that pen and paper ready y ’all!

1. KNOW YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

While trying out a new goal, it is extremely important to be able to point to your strengths and your shortcomings. It is also necessary to start with the tasks one is good at, in order to be able to complete a portion of the process, much faster than the rest. Starting with your strengths also keeps you motivated, and eager to complete the tasks.

2. PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE:

I think the most unfortunate aspect of trying to achieve something, is losing patience and giving up. Sometimes the start of a process might be fast paced, but the middle of the curve becomes linear, and excruciatingly slow. However, it is extremely important to not give up, and persist, in order to reap the benefits. For example, when a person who wants to lose weight begins their journey, a lot of their weight is shed during the initial period. However, after a while, the remaining few pounds of their goal weight, becomes stagnant. This is because the body becomes accustomed to their routine. In such a case, one must not give up on their journey, but merely try to amp up their routine, in order to see visible changes.

3. REPEAT AND RE-DO:

The whole purpose of the learning curve is to minimize time, as we adapt to the task at hand. Thus, repeating a task, and redoing it, reduces the time taken after a few attempts.

4. USE APPROPRIATE TECHNIQUES:

Every individual is different, which makes a certain type of technique unique to a particular set of people. Since learning curve mainly focuses on time, it is wiser to stick to the known techniques to complete the tasks, rather than experiment with new ones.

5. TAKE IT ONE STEP AT A TIME:

One of the most important aspects of knowing your limits is to know how much you can handle at once. It is always better to not multitask, or juggle too many projects at once, and end up ruining every single one of them. Rather, take it easy, and handle one at a time, giving your all into it, and successfully complete it within a short duration of time.

6. EVALUATE YOURSELF:

The only way one can improve, is by knowing one’s disposition. It is extremely important to evaluate your accuracy and improvement in time, while trying to abet your learning curve. Another smart way it to also get external evaluation, which will help to notice the shortcomings and suggestions you might otherwise never have been able to.

7. STAY FOCUSED:

Determination and focus is extremely underrated when it comes to besting yourself, at a task given to you. When you stay focused at the objective at hand, it helps you overcome your weaknesses and also cover the gaps of your time duration much more quickly and efficiently.

Thus, with these tiny tricks incorporated into your learning process, one can easily master a skillset with excellent efficiency, thereby, reducing the time duration of their learning curve.
